Our Vision

We live in one of the greatest periods of human migration in history. In Atlanta, Georgia, 1 in 10 people were born outside the US. Georgia is home to 1.1 million immigrants with an additionally estimated 800,000 undocumented people.

Immigrant Hope Atlanta exists to be the bridge between millions of lives in crisis and the love of God who requires his people to care for the alien and the stranger.

We connect immigrants to the legal resources they need. We are a trusted ally, offering hope in crisis and reunifying families. We advocate for needed changes and provide a safe space for churches and communities to learn about immigration.

Our mission: Immigrant Hope Atlanta is a trusted ally offering hope to immigrants in crisis and reunifying families through immigration legal services, education, and advocacy.

From one person God created all the nations of the earth, and He determined the exact times and boundaries of their existence, in order that people might search for Him, reach out to Him, and hopefully find Him. - Acts 17:26-27

From our Executive Director

For the past several years the immigration landscape in the United States has undergone enormous stress and changes. The need for immigrants to have trusted, capable, competent sources of practical help is vitally important. Immigrant Hope Atlanta has been a trusted ally for immigrants in their pursuit of US citizenship or residency that honors their individual dignity and worth, equips them in their immigration process and on their behalf educates civic and faith leaders to promote justice, compassion, and equity for their cause.
